RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 9, 2017, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY
CARDINAL CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "M-2,P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT, TO ALLOW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN
22,990 SQUARE FOOT WAREHOUSE/OFFICE BUILDING, A
25-STALL PARKING LOT, AND A 4,000 SQUARE FOOT
MAINTENANCE BUILDING, LOCATED NORTH OF 1318
MARTIN ROAD, AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 91h day of October
2017, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by Cardinal Construction, Inc.
for a Site Plan Amendment to the "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District, to allow for the
construction of an 22,990 square foot warehouse/office building, a 25-stall parking lot, and a
4,000 square foot maintenance building, located north of 1318 Martin Road, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of September 2017.
