RESOLUTION NO. 2017-786
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 16, 2017 TO APPROVE PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. FOR
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES OF 222 WALNUT
STREET, SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER
12, 2017, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with
asbestos abatement services at 222 Walnut Street, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with asbestos abatement services at 222
Walnut Street, be scheduled for October 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of October
2017, for the purpose of considering and acting upon asbestos abatement services at 222 Walnut
Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
