RESOLUTION NO. 2017-789
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING A
DATE OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 12, 2017, AND A
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 16, 2017, FOR
THE RECYCLING PROCESSING FACILITY TO SUPPORT
THE CITY OF WATERLOO'S CURBSIDE RECYCLING
PROGRAM, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with
the recycling processing facility to support the City of Waterloo's curbside recycling program, be
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the recycling processing facility to
support the City of Waterloo's curbside recycling program, be scheduled for October 12, 2017 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of October
2017, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the recycling processing facility to support
the City of Waterloo's curbside recycling program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
