RESOLUTION NO. 2017-794
RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2017 FALL STUMP
REMOVAL PROJECT BID TO WILSON CUSTOM TREE
SERVICE OF CRESCO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $63,550.92, AND APPROVING CONTRACT, BOND AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, AND AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree Service of Cresco, Iowa, submitted a bid in the amount
of$63,550.92, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the 2017 Fall Stump Removal
Project, and
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree Service of Cresco, Iowa, submitted a written contract
and certificate of insurance per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2017-792, after public hearing on September 25, 2017 in
conjunction with the 2017 Fall Stump Removal Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Wilson Custom Tree Service of Cresco, Iowa, in the amount of
$63,550.92, in conjunction with the 2017 Fall Stump Removal Project, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract and certificate of insurance submitted by Wilson Custom Tree
Service of Cresco, Iowa in conjunction with the 2017 Fall Stump Removal Project is hereby
approved.
3. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of September 2017.
