RESOLUTION NO. 2017-816
RESOLUTION APPROVING A REPAIR AND ASSESSMENT
AGREEMENT WITH CHRIS OLSON, DK MANAGEMENT, TO
ADD SIDEWALK REPAIRS AT 1013 W. 3RD STREET TO
THE FY 2018 SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM
- ZONE 7, CONTRACT 931, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, under this agreement, Chris Olson, DK Management, 1013 W. 3`d Street,
wishes to have the required repairs to the public sidewalk along his property included in the FY
2018 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program -Zone 7, Contract 931, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Olson, DK Management, is waiving the required notices and hearings
so that the work at 1013 W. 3 Street may be included with the work currently being done by the
City's contractor and completed in a timely manner, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Olson, DK Management, agrees to pay the final assessment bill for
repairs at 1013 W. P Street once the work has been completed and accepted by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Sidewalk Repair and Assessment Agreement between Chris
Olson, DK Management and the City of Waterloo, Iowa be hereby adopted, and the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said agreements on behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of October 2017.
