I am writing a petition to have School Zone signs placed the street in front of illar Highland Elementary. There have been too many close calls and drivers need a reminder to slow down. I think us as parents and just people that live in this area are as concerned as I am to put up • signs that help keep our neighborhood safe. think that putting a si Y n at corner of In ependence and Idaho with a flashing yellow light stating that Idaho c ►.,. = /4 ! ,.1 , St. is a school zone • n' at orner of ranklin and lIstating a school zone will help tremendously with getting people to slow down. As of Arizona St., there are no stop signs or yield sign',down the whole street which is the next street over from the school which is also a safety hazard for anyone crossing especially kids walking home from school. I would greatly appreciate us as parents and just concerned residents to help get our neighborhood safe with the precautions we need to take. Thank You!
