RESOLUTION NO. 2017-832
REQUEST OF RACIO ABARCA FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE ON OCTOBER 14, 2017 FROM 3:00 P.M. TO
10:00 P.M. IN CONJUNCTION WITH FATHER'S BIRTHDAY
CELEBRATION, TO BE HELD AT 1415 HAWTHORNE
AVENUE, TOGETHER WITH RECOMMENDATION OF
APPROVAL OF CAPTAIN OF POLICE SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Racio Abarca is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on October
14, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with father's birthday celebration,to be
held at 1415 Hawthorne Avenue, together with recommendation of approval of Captain of Police
Service, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,that the request of Racio Abarca for a variance to the Noise Ordinance, on
October 14, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with father's birthday
celebration,to be held at 1415 Hawthorne Avenue, be granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of October 2017.
