RESOLUTION NO. 2017-835
RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2017 TREE REMOVAL
PROJECT BID TO WILSON CUSTOM TREE SERVICE OF
CRESCO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,998.50, AND
APPROVING CONTRACT, BOND AND CERTIFICATE OF
INSURANCE, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tr Service f submitted a bid in the amount
Tree Sec o Cresco Iowa,
of $28,998.50, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the 2017 Tree Removal
Project, and
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree Service of Cresco, Iowa, submitted a written contract
and certificate of insurance per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2017-833, after public hearing on October 9, 2017 in conjunction
with the 2017 Tree Removal Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Wilson Custom Tree Service of Cresco, Iowa, in the amount of
$28,998.50, in conjunction with the 2017 Tree Removal Project, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract and certificate of insurance submitted by Wilson Custom Tree
Service of Cresco, Iowa in conjunction with the 2017 Tree Removal Project is hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of October 2017.
