RESOLUTION NO. 2017-836 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 1100 GRANT AVENUE AND 216-220 COMMERCIAL STREET.. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with the Asbestos abatement services for properties located at 1100 Grant Avenue and 216-220 Commercial Street, and WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with the Asbestos abatement services for properties located at 1100 Grant Avenue and 216-220 Commercial Street, and WHEREAS, a public hearing,upon notice, was held on October 9, 2017. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Asbestos abatement services for properties located at 1100 Grant Avenue and 216-220 Commercial Street, are hereby approved.
