RESOLUTION NO. 2017-848
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPLETION OF A
PROJECT AND RECOMMENDATION OF PROJECT
ACCEPTANCE OF WORK PERFORMED BY PELLA
ROOFING AND INSULATION OF VINTON, IOWA, AND
APPROVING PAYMENT OF PAY ESTIMATE NO. 2 (FINAL
PROJECT RETAINAGE) IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,877.25, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROOFING, RAIN GUTTERS AND
AR NO. 5 AT
LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS ON HANGAR
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, Pella Roofing and Insulation of Vinton, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the roofing, rain gutters and lighting improvements on Hangar No. 5 at
Waterloo Regional Airport, and
WHEREAS, Pella Roofing and Insulation has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$ 77,544.99.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion, recommendation of acceptance of
work performed by Pella Roofing and Insulation, and release of retainage in the amount of
$3,877.25, in conjunction with the roofing, rain gutters and lighting improvements on Hangar
No. 5 at Waterloo Regional Airport, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9t'day of October 2017.
