RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN FOR THE
REQUEST BY HAMMOND HILLS DEVELOPMENT TO
VACATE PORTIONS OF THE 5' UTILITY EASEMENT
LOCATED ON LOTS 146 AND 147 OF HAMMOND HILLS
6TH ADDITION, AS JUNE 29, 2015, AT 5 : 30 P.M.
IN HAROLD E. GETTY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY
HALL, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 29th day of June,
2015, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal
to vacate portions of the 5' utility easement located on Lots 146
and 147 of Hammond Hills 6th Addition, and legally described as
follows :
The South Five (5) feet of Lot 146, except the West Eight
(8) feet thereof; and the North Five (5) feet of Lot 147,
except the West Eight (8) feet thereof, all in Hammond Hills
Sixth Addition, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 2015 .
