RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR A
TRAFFIC SAFETY GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$11, 000 . 00 FOR A TRAFFIC SAFETY AWARENESS
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Traffic Safety Grant Application, in the amount of
$11, 000 . 00, in conjunction with the Traffic Safety Awareness
Elementary School Outreach Program to conduct an elementary
school outreach safety program including recruitment of police,
fire or other volunteers to speak at primary schools . This will
include presentation development and planning along with
coordination with the schools, funded by Traffic Safety, is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August 2015 .
