You Got Elected, Now What?: This session covers strate- gies for success in office, dealing with personnel issues, meeting basics and a brief overview of roles and respon- sibilities. Basics of Planning and Zoning: Participants will receive an overview of Iowa planning and zoning laws, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the planning commission, the board of adjustment and the city council.
