RESOLUTION NO. 2017-948
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 30, 2017 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS DECEMBER 4, 2017, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF ONE USED JOHN DEERE 7330 TRACTOR
AND MOWING ATTACHMENTS, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENTS, ETC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid documents, etc. in conjunction with
the purchase of one used John Deere 7330 Tractor and mowing attachments, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the purchase of one used John Deere
7330 Tractor and mowing attachments, be scheduled for November 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City
Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of December
2017, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the purchase of one used John Deere 7330
Tractor and mowing attachments.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 201h day of November 2017.
