RESOLUTION NO. 2017-956
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT, BONDS AND
CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE WITH WOODRUFF
CONSTRUCTION, LLC OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
THE HANGAR NO. 4 REHABILITATION PROJECT AT THE
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, VIA IDOT PROJECT NO.
9-I-180-ALO-200, AND IDOT CONTRACT NO. 19559, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $65,522, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction, LLC submitted a written contract, bonds and
certificate of insurance per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project
with Resolution No. 2017-937, after public hearing on November 13, 2017, in conjunction with
the Hangar No. 4 Rehabilitation Project at the Waterloo Regional Airport, via IDOT Project No.
9-I-180-ALO-200, and IDOT Contract No. 19559.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the contract, bonds and certificate of insurance submitted by Woodruff
Construction, LLC in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4 Rehabilitation Project at the Waterloo
Regional Airport, via IDOT Project No. 9-I-180-ALO-200, and IDOT Contract No. 19559, is
hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November 2017.
