RESOLUTION NO. 2017-958
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RENTAL OF ONE
ADDITIONAL MOTOR GRADER IN THE AMOUNT OF
$26,800, FOR A PERIOD ENDING MARCH 2018, FROM
MURPHY TRACTOR OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, one of the City's 1998 motor graders has become inoperable because of a
failed transmission, and
WHEREAS, Murphy Tractor previously submitted and was awarded the bid for motor
grader rentals with the City of Waterloo, by Resolution No. 2017-894 on October 23, 2017.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the rental of one additional motor grader to support snow operations
from November thru March 15, 2018, in the amount of $26,800, through Murphy Tractor, is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November 2017.
