RESOLUTION NO. 2017-937
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO WOODRUFF
CONSTRUCTION, LLC OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
THE HANGAR NO. 4 REHABILITATION PROJECT, AT THE
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, VIA IDOT PROJECT NO.
9-I-180-ALO-200, AND IDOT CONTRACT NO. 19559, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $65,522 AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction, LLC, Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid in the
amount of $65,522, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4
Rehabilitation Project, at the Waterloo Regional Airport, via IDOT Project No. 9-I-180-ALO-
200, and IDOT Contract No. 19559.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Woodruff Construction, LLC in the amount of$65,522, is
hereby awarded in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4 Rehabilitation Project, at the Waterloo
Regional Airport, via IDOT Project No. 9-I-180-ALO-200, and IDOT Contract No. 19559
described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2017-935, after public hearing on November 13, 2017, on published notice
required by law, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of November 2017.
