RESOLUTION NO. 2017-938
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BOULDER CONTRACTING,
LLC, OF GRUNDY CENTER, IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$1,382,794.18 IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2017 BRIDGE
DECK AND OVERLAY PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 879,
AND RECEIVE AND FILE TWO (2) YEAR MAINTENANCE
BOND.
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC. of Grundy Center, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2017 Bridge Deck and Overlay Program, Contract No. 879, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC, has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$1,382,794.18.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Boulder Contracting, LLC. in the amount of $1,382,794.18, in
conjunction with the FY 2017 Bridge Deck and Overlay Program, Contract No. 879, are hereby
approved, and the two (2)year maintenance bond is hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of November 2017.
