RESOLUTION NO. 2017-987
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO P & K MIDWEST OF
WATERLOO, IOWA FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2012
JOHN DEERE 7330 UTILITY TRACTOR WITH MOWER
ATTACHMENTS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $181,443, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, P & K Midwest of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$107,200 and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2012 John
Deere 7330 utility tractor with mower attachments, and
WHEREAS, P & K Midwest submitted a written contract, per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-985, after public
hearing on December 4, 2017, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2012 John Deere 7330
utility tractor with mower attachments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of P & K Midwest, in the amount of$181,443, in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) 2012 John Deere 7330 utility tractor with mower attachments, is hereby
awarded.
2. That the contract submitted by P & K Midwest in conjunction with the purchase
of one (1)2012 John Deere 7330 utility tractor with mower attachments is hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4t" day of December 2017.
