RESOLUTION NO. 2017-998
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT,
ETC. AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS JANUARY
4, 2018 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JANUARY 8,
2018, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) BASE MODEL
MIDSIZE AWD SUV FOR THE MOTOR POOL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid documents, etc. in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1)base model midsize AWD SUV for the motor pool, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) base model
midsize AWD SUV for the motor pool, be scheduled for January 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th day of January
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the purchase of one (1)base model midsize
AWD SUV for the motor pool.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of December 2017.
