RESOLUTION NO. 2017-1018
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO PAT
MCGRATH CHEVY OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $26,517, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE COMPACT PICK-UP TRUCK WITH
CREW CAB FOR CODE ENFORCEMENT, AND AUTHORIZE
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Pat McGrath Chevy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$26,517, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) four-wheel
drive compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code Enforcement, and
WHEREAS, Pat McGrath Chevy submitted a written contract, per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-1017, after public
hearing on December 18, 2017, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) four-wheel drive
compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code Enforcement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Pat McGrath Chevy in the amount of $26,517, in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) four-wheel drive compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code
Enforcement, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract submitted by Pat McGrath Chevy, in conjunction with the
purchase of one (1) four-wheel drive compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code
Enforcement, is hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December 2017.
