RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT IN THE
ACCEPTANCE OF A HUD-OFFICE OF HEALTHY HOMES
AND LEAD HAZARD CONTROLS GRANT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $1, 705, 557 . 00, WITH THE MATCH OF
$716, 145. 00 FUNDED BY CDBG FUNDS AND BLACK
HAWK COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, TO TO BE USED
FOR PERSONNEL COSTS, HOUSING REHABILITATION
TRAINING AND EDUCATION ACTIVITIES, AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement dated September 26, 2011, to accept HUD-
Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Controls Grant, in the
amount of $1, 705, 557 . 00, with the match of $716, 145 . 00 funded by
CDBG funds and Black Hawk County Health Department, to be used
for personnel costs, housing rehabilitation training and
education activities be, and the same is hereby approved, and the
Mayor authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of September 2011 .
