The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Organizational Meeting at City Hall
Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, January 7, 2008. Mayor Timothy
J. Hurley in the Chair. Roll Call: Cole, Getty, Hart, Greenwood, Steve Schmitt, Welper,
Reggie Schmitt.
126396 - Reggie Schmitt/Greenwood
that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Organizational Meeting on Monday, January
7, 2008, at 5:00 p.m., be accepted and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
126397 - Welper/Cole
that the Oaths of Office of the Mayor and City Council Members be received and
placed on file. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
126398 - Getty/Reggie Schmitt
that the recommendation of Council Members to reappoint Nancy Eckert as City
Clerk be received, placed on file and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.

that communication from Mayor Hurley transmitting recommendation of appointment
of Reggie Schmitt as Mayor Pro Tem be received, placed on file and approved.
