RESOLUTION NO. 2018-09
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE AWARD OF NOT TO
EXCEED $10,000 FOR PROJECT COSTS FOR INTENSIVE
HISTORIC SURVEY OF THE SMOKEY ROW SECTION OF
WATERLOO FROM THE STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
OFFICE, DEPARTMENT OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS
CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT (CLG) GRANT AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certified Local Government grant from the State Historic Preservation Office,
Department of Cultural Affairs, in an amount not to exceed $10,000, for an intensive historic
survey of the Smokey Row Section of Waterloo, is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and City
Clerk authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January 2018.
