RESOLUTION NO. 2018-032
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MUNICIPAL PIPE TOOL CO.
OF HUDSON, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,545,675.43,
FOR THE FY 2017 CIP PIPELINING PHASE IIIA, CONTRACT
NO. 919, AND RECEIVE AND FILE TWO (2) YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe Tool Co. of Hudson, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the FY 2017 CIP Pipelining Phase IIIA, Contract No. 919, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
and
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe Tool, Co. has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of $1,545,675.43.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Municipal Pipe Tool Co. in the amount of $1,545,675.43, in conjunction
with the FY 2017 CIP Pipelining Phase IIIA, Contract No. 919, are hereby approved, and the two
(2) year maintenance bond is hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January 2018.
