RESOLUTION APPROVING ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION
EXTENSION AGREEMENT BETWEEN MIDAMERICAN
ENERGY AND THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
FOR INSTALLATION OF A TRANSFORMER FOR THE
SOUTH PUMP STATION ALONG MULLAN AVENUE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE US HIGHWAY 63 PROJECT
FROM JEFFERSON STREET TO FRANKLIN STREET, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Electric Distribution Extension Agreement dated January 16, 2018, between Mid
American Energy and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for installation of a transformer for the South
Pomp Station along Mullan Avenue, in conjunction with the US Highway 63 project from
Jefferson Street to Franklin Street, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January 2018.
