RESOLUTION NO. 2015-788
RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION TO THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR ICAAP FUNDING FOR
RE-TIMING THE DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM FOR
$200, 000 WITH A 20 PERCENT LOCAL MATCH BY THE CITY
OF WATERLOO AND UPON COMPLETION, BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR ADEQUATELY MAINTAINING AND OPERATING THE
PROJECT FOR PUBLIC USE DURING THE PROJECT ' S USEFUL
LIFE AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION
BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the application to the Iowa Department of
Transportation for ICAAP funding for re-timing the Downtown
traffic signal system, in the amount of $200, 000 . 00, with a 20
percent local match by the City of Waterloo and upon
completion, be responsible for adequately maintaining and
operating the project for public use during the project' s
useful life, is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized and
directed to execute said application on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th d of September 015 .
