The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Executive Session at City Hall
Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 4:00 p.m., on September 4, 1985. Mayor
Bowers in the Chair. Roll call: Wright, Dowie, Seeber, Getty, Lichty, Penaluna,
and Klinger.
88027 - Moved by Lichty, seconded by Wright
that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved.
Motion carried.
88028 - Assistant City Attorney, Donna Lesyshen, stated that the purpose of the Executive
Session was authorized under Iowa Code Section 21.5(c).
Moved by Seeber, seconded by Klinger
to adjourn to Executive Session. Ayes: Seven.
Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
88029 - Moved by Wright, seconded by Dowie
to adjourn Executive Session.
Motion carried.
88030 - Moved by Lichty, seconded by Getty
that the City of Waterloo continue with the process of liquidation of Rath
Packing Company. Ayes: Seven.
Motion carried.
88031 - Moved by Seeber, seconded by Dowie
that the Council adjourn.
Motion carried.
