The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Executive Session at City Hall
Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 1985. Mayor Bowers
in the Chair. Roll call: Wright, Dowie, Seeber, Getty, Lichty, Penaluna,
Klinger.
87861 - Moved by Klinger, seconded by Wright
to receive and place on file the call.
Motion carried.
87862 - Moved by Seeber, seconded by Lichty
that the Agenda as proposed be approved.
Motion carried.
87863 - Assistant City Attorney, Donna Lesyshen, stated that the purpose for the
Executive Session was authorized under 'ma Code, Section 28A 5(c).
Moved by Dowie, seconded by Lichty
to adjourn to Executive Session. Ayes: Seven.
Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
87864 - Moved by Getty, seconded by Lichty
to adjourn Executive Session.
Motion carried.
87865 - Moved by Getty, seconded by Seeber
to continue with the Court ordered liquidation procedure and "Resolution
approving contract between the City of Waterloo, Economic Development Committee
Rath Packing Company Barliant and Company, First Team Auction, Inc.," be adopted
and Mayor authorized to execute same. Ayes: Seven.
Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 1985-451A.
