The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session at
City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 7:30 p.m. on May 9,
1985. Mayor Bowers in the Chair. Roll call: Klinger, Penaluna,
Lichty, Getty, Seeber, Dowie, Wright.
87374 - Moved by Klinger, seconded by Wright
to receive and place on file the calls for the Special Meeting.
Motion carried.
87375 - W. David Tyler, City Attorney, indicated that the purposes for the
Executive Session was authorized by the Iowa Code Section
28A.5(1)(c)--Rath Packing Company bankruptcy preceedings.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Seeber
that the Council meet in Executive Session. Ayes: Seven.
Motion carried.
Discussion was held regarding persons who would be allowed from the
Rath Employees Reorganization Committee.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
87376 - Moved by Klinger, seconded by Dowie
that the Council adjourn the Executive Session. Ayes: Seven.
Motion carried.
(No action taken)
87377 - Moved by Penaluna, seconded by Getty
that the Council adjourn.
Motion carried.
