The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session at
City Hall Mayor's Conference Room Waterloo, Iowa, at 4:00 p.m. on
February 2, 1985. Mayor Bowers in the Chair. Roll call: Klinger,
Penaluna, Lichty, Getty, Dowie, Wright. Absent: Seeber.
86911 - Moved by Getty, seconded by Lichty
to receive and file copies of the call.
Motion carried.
86912 - Moved by Wright, seconded by Dowie
that the agenda, as proposed, be approved.
Motion carried.
86913 - W. David Tyler, City Attorney, reported that the Executive Session
was authorized by Sec. 28A -5(c) of the State Code of Iowa.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Wright
that the Council meet in Executive Session. Ayes: Six. Absent:
Seeber.
Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Councilperson Seeber now present via electronic means, with said
meeting conducted in accordance with Iowa Code Section 28A.8
(Electronic Meetings).
86914 - Moved by Dawie, seconded by Wright
that the Executive Session be adjourned.
Motion carried.
86915 - Moved by Getty, seconded by Dowie
that Resolution revising Resolution No. 1985-43 adopted January 28,
1985, "Resolution authorizing proportionate guarantee of a loan to
the Rath Packing Company for purposes of allowing Rath to retire
liens now held by creditors against their Trademark and Patents", be
adopted. Ayes: Six. Nays: Lichty.
Resolution approved and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 1985-44.

that the Council adjourn.
