r The Council of City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session in Council
Chambers in City Hall in said City at 12:00 Noon on December 26, 1975. Pursu-
ant to the following calls:
TO: CITY COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: You are hereby notified
that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, will
be held at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
at 12:00 o'clock Noon on Friday, December 26, 1975 and that said Special Meet-
ing is being called for the purpose of considering the items of business as
shown on attached agenda.
You are further notified that no other business except the above will be trans-
mitted at said Meeting.

Due, timely and legal service of the above notice is hereby accepted this

RESOLUTION TO BE ADOPTED: Resolution approving the execution of the Quit Claim
Deed conveying a portion of vacated Concrete Avenue to The Rath Packing Company,

the Special Meeting of December 26, 1975 at 12:00 Noon, be received
and placed on file. Motion carried.
69266 - Moved by Getty, seconded by Geiger that the Agenda for the Special
Session of December 26, 1975 at 12:00 Noon, be received and placed on
file. Motion carried.
69267 - Moved by Keller, seconded by Berdell that proof of publication of
notice of public hearing on rezoning, upon request of W. Louis Beecher,
Attorney for Deere & Company and Owners of certain real estate, upon
recommendation of City Zoning Commission and Council's own motion, to
rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "M-2" Planned Industrial
District All Section 16; North -�, Section 17; East Z of SE 3� of Section
17; and that part of East a of NE 4 of Section 21; lying North of
Chicago, Great Western Railroad; all in Township 89 North, Range 12
West of 5th P.M., as published in the Waterloo Daily Courier of Decem-
ber 9, 1975, be received and placed on file. Motion carried.

ance No. 2479, as amended, by adding Sub -Section No. 83 to Section
2A-5, rezoning certain property" be considered and the rules requir-
ing ordinances to be considered and voted on at two prior meetings,
suspended, said Ordinance recorded as having been considered and pass-
ed for the first, second and third times, and now placed on its final
adoption. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried

69269 - Moved by Ge.lger, seconded by Berdell that "An Ordinance amending
Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, by adding Sub -Section No. 83 to
Section 2A-5, rezoning certain property", be adopted. Ayes: Seven.
Ordinance adopted and upon approval by Mayor, assigned No. 2783 in
official ordinance book.
69270 - Moved by Wilharm, seconded by Lichty that "An Ordinance extending
Ward 2, Precinct 8, and Ward 4, Precinct 8, to include certain
contiguous annexed territories in the City of Waterloo, Iowa", be
considered and the rules requiring ordinance to be considered and
voted on at two prior meetings, suspended, said Ordinance recorded as
having been considered and passed for the first, second and third
times, and now placed on its final adoption. Ayes: Seven. Motion
carried.
69271 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm that "An Ordinance extending
Ward 2, Precinct 8, and Ward 4, Precinct 8, to include certain
contiguous annexed territories in the City of Waterloo, Iowa", be
adopted. Ayes: Seven. Ordinance adopted and upon approval by
Mayor, assigned No. 2784 in official ordinance book.
69272 - Moved by Getty, seconded by Lichty that "Resolution approving the
execution of the Quit Claim Deed conveying a portion of vacated
Concrete Avenue to The Rath Packing Company, and accepting a Quit
Claim Deed dated 12/24/75 from The Rath Packing Company conveying
unto the City of Waterloo, Iowa a part of Lot 16, Auditor Morning-
side Addition", be adopted. Ayes: Seven. Resolution adopted and
upon approval by Mayor, assigned No. 24396 in official resolution
book.

carried.
