McKinley in the Chair. Roll Call: Dell, Fox, Angel, Budak, Brown, Buck. Absent: Wright. Invocation by: Mayor McKinley. Pledge of Allegiance: Councilperson Brown. 96772 - Moved by Buck, seconded by Angel that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Regular Session on December 26, 1990, at 7:00 p.m., and the Minutes of the Regular Session on December 17, 1990, at 7:00 p.m., be accepted and approved. Motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 96773 - Mayor McKinley extended an invitation to all Council members to visit Koehring Crane & Excavators. Councilpersons Wright and Dell have visited the plant and were impressed with the facility. Moved by Brown, seconded by Dell that communication from City Engineer transmitting 'recommendation of award of contract to Cedar Valley Corporation of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $409,176.10, subject to Department of Transportation approval, for the F.Y. 1991 Big Rock Road Paving, Contract No. 395, be received, placed on file and "Resolution awarding said contract", be adopted. PETITIONS FROM PUBLIC 96774 - Moved by Buck, seconded by Budak that communication from City Planner transmitting request of Kathy Long to vacate, sell and convey the westerly 115 feet of Wyandotte Street adjoining property at 1040 Ann Street, together with recommendation of approval of the Planning, Programming and Zoning Commission, be received, placed on file and "Resolution setting date of hearing as January 14, 1991, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers on the above described request", be adopted and Deputy Clerk/Auditor instructed to publish notice of same. Ordinance adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 3759. 96790 - Dennis Gentz, Assistant City Engineer, explained that in the process of establishing grades for the upcoming sidewalk assessment program, a previous street grade established for Scott Avenue was incorrect. This action amends a previous incorrect action of the City Council. No changes will be made to the existing street grade by this action. Moved by Buck, seconded by Brown that "an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2970, an Ordinance establishing grades for various avenues, boulevards, roads and streets in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa", be received, placed on file, considered and passed for the first time.
