HomeMy WebLinkAbout11/28/90The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 11:00 a.m. on November 28, 1990. Mayor Bernard L. McKinley in the Chair. Roll Call: Dell, Fox, Buck, Wright, Budak, Brown. Absent: Angel. 96674 - Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that copies of the Call of the Special Session of November 28, 1990, at 11:00 a.m., be received and placed on file. Motion carried. 96675 - Moved by Budak, seconded by Brown that proof of publication of notice of public hearing on issuance of not to exceed $4,125,000 Sewer Revenue Bonds, as published in the Waterloo Courier on November 9, 1990, be received and placed on file. Motion carried. 96676 - HOLD HEARING --This being the time and place of public hearing, the Mayor called for written and oral objections and there were none. Moved by Buck, seconded by Fox that "Resolution instituting proceedings to take additional action for the issuance of not to exceed $4,125,000 Sewer Revenue Bonds", be adopted. Ayes: Five. Nays: Wright. Absent: Angel. Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 1990-660. 96677 - This being the time and place fixed in the published notice for the consideration of proposals for the purpose of $4,125,000 Sewer Revenue Bonds, the Council proceeded accordingly. The Mayor announced that the time had arrived for receipt of sealed bids for said bonds. Moved by Buck, seconded by Brown that the following sealed bids be received, placed on file, but NOT OPENED and sealed bidding closed: Name of Bidder 1.
