RESOLUTION NO. 2018-040
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.
AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS FEBRUARY 15,
2018 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS FEBRUARY 19,
2018, FOR THE FY 2018 UNIVERSITY AVENUE - PHASE I,
FROM GREENHILL ROAD TO EVERGREEN AVENUE,
CONTRACT 933, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the FY 2018 University Avenue - Phase I, from Greenhill Road to Evergreen Avenue,
Contract 933, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the FY 2018 University Avenue -
Phase I, from Greenhill Road to Evergreen Avenue, Contract 933, be scheduled for February 15,
2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 pan. on the 19th day of February
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the FY 2018 University Avenue - Phase I,
from Greenhill Road to Evergreen Avenue, Contract 933.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier. -
