RESOLUTION NO. 2018-042
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PETERS CONSTRUCTION
CORPORATION, OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $853,181.91, FOR THE FY 2016 W. 2ND, CEDAR, AND W.
3RD STREET IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 912, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE TWO (2) YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Peters Construction Corporation of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2016 W. 2nd, Cedar, and W. 3rd Street Improvements, Contract No.
912, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Peters Construction Corporation has completed the aforementioned project
in accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of $853,181.91.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Peters Construction Corporation in the amount of $853,181.91, in
conjunction with the FY 2016 W. 2nd, Cedar, and W. 3rd Street Improvements, Contract No.
912, are hereby approved, and the two (2) year maintenance bond is hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of January 2018.
