RESOLUTION NO. 2018-071
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO KARL
CHEVROLET OF ANKENY, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF
$26,322.30, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) FOUR-WHEEL
DRIVE COMPACT PICK-UP TRUCK WITH CREW CAB FOR
CODE ENFORCEMENT.
WHEREAS, Karl Chevrolet of Ankeny, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$26,322.30, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) four-
wheel drive compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code Enforcement, and
WHEREAS, Karl Chevrolet submitted a written contract, per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2018-069, after public
hearing on February 5, 2018, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) four-wheel drive
compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code Enforcement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Karl Chevrolet in the amount of $26,322.30, in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) four-wheel drive compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code
Enforcement, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract submitted by Karl Cheverolet, in conjunction with the purchase
of one (1) four-wheel drive compact pick-up truck with crew cab for Code Enforcement, is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February 2018.
