RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ACQUISITION CONTRACT
WITH JAN ANTONIE VAN TONDER AND HELEEN VAN
TONDER TO DONATE A 9,380 SQUARE FOOT PROPERTY
TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO, LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF
1128 WASHINGTON STREET (HIGHWAY 218), NEAR THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF WASHINGTON STREET AND
WEST 11TH STREET, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the acquisition contract dated February 5, 2018, between Jan Antonie Van Tonder and
Heleen Van Tonder and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to donate a 9,380 square foot property to the
City of Waterloo, located southeast of 1128 Washington Street (Highway 218), near the
southwest corner of Washington Street and West 1 lth Street, is hereby approved, and the Mayor
and City Clerk are authorized to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February 2018.
