RESOLUTION NO. 2018-078
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 1, 2018 AND SETTING
A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS MARCH 5, 2018, FOR
DEMOLITION SERVICES AT 807 EAST 4TH STREET AND
809-811 EAST 4TH STREET, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the demolition services at 807 East 4th Street and 809-811 East 4th Street, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the demolition services at 807 East
4th Street and 809-811 East 4th Street, be scheduled for March 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of March 2018,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the demolition services at 807 East 4th Street and
809-811 East 4th Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
