RESOLUTION SETTING A DALE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 26, 2018 TO APPROVE PROPERTY EXCHANGE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF WATERLOO AND THE
WATERLOO COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE
SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY
(SOUTHERN 10 ACRES OF MIRIAM PARK) AND
ACQUISITION OF THE FORMER EDISON SCHOOL SITE,
AND DIRECT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th day of February
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon approving the Property Exchange
Agreement between the City of Waterloo and the Waterloo Community School District for the
sale and conveyance of city owned property (southern 10 acres of Miriam Park) and acquisition
of the former Edison School site.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
