RESOLUTION SETTING DAZE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 26, 2018 FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE
EXCHANGE AGREEMENT AND ASSIGNMENT OF REAL
ESTATE CONTRACT WITH L & 11 FARMS, LTD. FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN BLACK HAWK COUNTY
FOR EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY IN THE SAN MARNAN TIF
DISTRICT IN THE AMOUNT OF $364,117 FOR 9.54 ACRES,
AND UP TO $10,000 IN CLOSING COSTS,AND DIRECT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th day of February
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon approval of the Exchange Agreement and
Assignment of Real Estate Contract, with L & H Farms, Ltd. for the acquisition of property in
Black Hawk County for exchange of property in the San Marnan TIF District, in the amount of
$364,117, for 9.54 acres, and up to $10,000 in closing costs.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of February 2018.
