Roll call: Mayor Manning, Angel, Dell, Fox, Lemke, Budak, Buck and
Wright.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Manning. The focus of the
meeting was to discuss Cedar Valley Partnership and its efforts to
recruit and assist existing business in the Cedar Valley area. The
presentation by Bernie McKinley included a brief slide show which
highlighted various businesses that have located in the community
or expanded. A copy of the Community Quick Reference was
distributed which is updated semi-annually and gives statistics on
population, education, income, housing, municipal services, tax
structure, quality of life, etc. He also highlighted a new program
entitled "New Ventures" which encourages the formation of new
business in the community. The annual report for the year ending
December 31, 1992, was distributed.
No official action was taken.
With no further business before the council, the meeting was
adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
