Members present: Mayor Rooff, Jordan, Krizek, Murphy, Getty.
Members absent: Anders, Collier, Mollenhoff.
Moved by Murphy, seconded by Krizek that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Ayes: Four. Absent: Anders, Collier, Mollenhoff.
Motion carried.
Agenda items for the council meeting to be held on Monday,
September 26, 1994 were reviewed and discussed with representatives
from departments that had items on the agenda.
Moved by Murphy, seconded by Jordan that the following beer and
liquor license permit application be received, placed on file and
approved and endorsed application forwarded to the Iowa Beer and
Liquor Control Department:
1. Beer/Liquor License Permit Application
Class C
By All Means, 726-728 Logan Avenue (New) (Expires 9/7/95)
(Includes Sunday Sales)
Ayes: Four. Absent: Anders, Collier, Mollenhoff. Motion
carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Krizek that the following pre -
authorizations to expend over $300.00 be approved:
a. Request from Water Pollution Control Plant to expend
$1,120.00 to pay for purchase of two 3.1 cubic ft.
gravity convection ovens.
b. Request from Water Pollution Control Plant to expend
$7,965.00 to pay for repairs to digester covers.
c. Request from Water Pollution Control to expend $1,842.00
for repairs to overhead door for filter building door.
Ayes: Four. Absent: Anders, Collier, Mollenhoff. Motion
carried.
Collier now present at 4:40 p.m.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by
Murphy, seconded by Jordan that the meeting be adjourned at 5:10
p.m. Ayes: Five. Absent: Anders, Mollenhoff. Motion carried.
