Members present: Mayor Rooff, Anders, Collier, Getty, Krizek,
Jordan, Mollenhoff, Murphy.
Moved by Collier, seconded by Krizek that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
Agenda items for the council meeting to be held on Monday, June 6,
1994, were reviewed and discussed with representatives from
departments who had items on the agenda.
Discussion was heard on the following items:
1. Request for $25,000 for Young Arena Fund Drive
2. Request for $25,000 for P.A.S.S. Football Stadium
3. Authorization for police grant match to spend $15,000 of
donated funds for promotional material
4. Sharing one call membership with the Water Works
5. Police Officer Loren Hall placed on administrative leave
6. Emergency purchase for safety barrier on Fereday curve
7. Discussion on Water Pollution Control facilities design
process to select design and construction
8. Discussion of Riverview area
9. Ward Table Talks
10. Moody's bond ratings/insurance for general obligation
bonds
11. Park & Recreation liaison to the Sports Committee
12. The Monday, June 13, 1994 council meeting to be held at
517 Fowler Street in conjunction with Black Hawk County
Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Murphy that the meeting be adjourned
at 5:59 p.m.
