Members present: Mayor Rooff, Anders, Collier, Getty, Krizek,
Jordan, Mollenhoff, Murphy.
Moved by Murphy, seconded by Collier that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
Mayor Rooff discussed the proposed staffing procedure. He stated
as the council acts or people call in regarding an item, a note,
phone call, letter, fax, etc., it will be forwarded to the Mayor's
office. The Mayor's office will staff this request within 24 hours
and on Thursday after the council agenda work session, a status
report will be given on every item and the results of that request.
This gives each councilperson a report that another councilperson
may be able to use in their respective wards about a similar item.
After the Thursday meeting, we should be able to accept the
information or refer it to a work session, assign to a committee,
or place it on the council agenda for a decision. Any item that
requires a department to compile information must be staffed but a
question of a department head will not be required to go through
the staffing procedure.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Getty,
seconded by Mollenhoff that the meeting be adjourned at 6:09 p.m.
Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
