ORAL PRESENTATIONS
105777 - Pierre Denault, 205 Lovejoy, thanked all elected officials for their service to the
community on the eve of the election. Denault reported his concern for the public
health as a result of open burning. The allowance of open burning shows a disregard
for the health concerns of persons with breathing problems. The public should be
aware that open burning can hurt the health of the public. He suggested persons
suffering as a result of open burning document the complaints and file them with the
appropriate regulatory agency or join in a lawsuit.
Ernie Boykin, PO Box 1438, rose to give thanks to the members of the Rooff Team.
She noted that she has kept a list of the promises made by the team and feels
satisfied with their effort to meet those promises.
