Members present: Anders, Jordan, Murphy, Getty, Krizek, Collier.
Members absent: Mollenhoff.
Moved by Murphy, seconded by Krizek that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Ayes: Six. Absent: Mollenhoff. Motion carried.
The council reviewed the travel request from the Community
Development Administrator to attend the 1995 National Association
of Housing and Redevelopment Legislative Conference in Washington
D.C. on March 22 through March 25, 1995. Mark Boesen, Community
Development Administrator, described the process through which
delegates are scheduled to speak to legislative representatives to
assist access to federal funding for future projects. The 37
Million dollar EPA grant was solicited in this manner along with
the funding for the Hazardous Materials Training Center. It was
the consensus of the council to place this item on the agenda for
approval on January 23, 1995.
Agenda items for the Council meeting to be held on Monday, January
23, 1995 were reviewed and discussed with representatives from
departments that had items on the agenda.
Councilperson Jordan requested that an update on the progress of
the energy audit improvements be scheduled at the next meeting.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Getty,
seconded by Collier that the meeting be adjourned at 4:35 p.m.
Ayes: Six. Absent: Mollenhoff. Motion carried.
