The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session at City Hall
Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa at 11:15 A.M., on October 15, 1981. Mayor Rooff
in the Chair. On Roll Call: Present: Getty, Penaluna, Roehr, Wilharm, Burton,
Dowie. Absent: Bowers.
81260A - Moved by Wilharm, seconded by Roehr
that Copies of the Call for the Special Meeting of October 15, 1981 at
11:15 A.M., be received and placed on file. Motion carried.
81260B - Discussion followed concerning the proposed project. Mr. Keiper assured
the Council that he would have more information at the hearing.
Daryl Anderson of Flinn, Saito & Anderson, briefly explained the project
and the planned renovation.
Moved by Dowie,.seconded by Wilharm
that "Resolution authorizing the execution of a Memorandum of Agreement
with Keiper-Ilten Partnership, for issuance not to exceed $1,500,000
Industrial Development Revenue Bonds", be adopted. Ayes: Six. Absent:
Bowers.
Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 1981-517A.
81260C - Moved by Wilharm, seconded by Roehr.
that "Resolution setting date of public hearing on proposed Industrial
Development Revenue Bonds, Series 1981 (Keiper-Ilten Partnership) not
to exceed $1,500,000 as October 30, 1981, 4:00 P.M." be adopted. Ayes:
Six. Absent: Bowers.
Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned no. 1981-517B.
81260D - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm
that the Council adjourn. Motion carried.
