OFFICIAL COUNT OF BALLOTS CAST AT THE CIVIC CENTER BOND PROPOSITION
SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF DECEMBER 5, 1972.
We, the undersigned, Mayor and. Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
hereby certify the following:
That on the 6th day of December, 1972, we met as canvassers to canvass
the returns from all precincts in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for votes cast
at the special election held in said. City on the 5th day of December, 1972,
for the purpose of submitting to the voters of said. City, for their approval
or rejection, the question
Question: Shall the following Public Measure be adopted?
"Shall the City of Waterloo, in the County of Black Hawk,
State of Iowa, issue bonds in the amount of Five Million
Five Hundred. Thousand Dollars ($5,500,000) for the purpose
of paying the cost of carrying out a project consisting of
constructing and equipping a civic center and, acquiring
and improving property therefor in andfor said. City?"
That the returns from all precincts in said. City was canvassed andthe
result of said election in each precinct was as herein set forth:
