HomeMy WebLinkAbout12/071972Vic P g73--877 City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa SPECIAL SESSION December 7, 1972 - 12:00 NOON The City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall in said City at 12:00 Noon on December 7, 1972, pursuant to the following call: TO: CITY COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA You are hereby notified that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, will be held at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 12:00 o'clock Noon on Thursday, December 7, 1972 and that said Special Meeting is being called for the purpose of "Canvassing and declaring the results of the Special Municipal Election on December 5, 1972, on the Civic Center Bond Proposition." Your are further notified that no other business except the above will be transmitted at said Meeting. (Signed) LLOYD L. Absent: Councilman Dykeman and Morrissey. 63103 - Moved by Cohea, seconded by Miller that the Copies of the Call for the Special Meeting of December 7, 1972, at 12:00 Noon, be received and placed on file. Motion carried. 63104 - Moved by Keller, seconded by Mabrey that the election registers and certificates of the Judges and Clerks of the Election Boards, the Election Report of the County Commissioner of Elections, and the Can- vassers Report of the results of the Special Municipal Election in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on December 5, 1972, on the Civic Center Bond Proposition, be received, placed on file, examined and verified. Motion carried. 63105 - Moved by Miller, seconded by Cavanaugh that Resolution No. 22298, a resolution canvassing and declaring the results of a special election on a Civic Center Bond proposition, be adopted. On roll call, Cavanaugh, Cohea, Keller, Mabrey and Miller voted Aye. Nay: None. Absent: Dykeman and Morrissey. Mayor declared the resolu- tion adopted. 63106 - Moved by Miller, seconded by Cohea that the Council adjourn. Motion carried. Andrew A.
